“Import tax being charged on delivery to Ireland ( on top of UK VAT), this is not advised at checkout. No refund or credit offered when queried”

Good Afternoon, I am sorry you appear dissatisfied. You have been charged Import Duty by the Republic of Ireland Government and not by us here at Lighting Direct. The Irish Revenue Commissioners set the amount on products imported from non-EU countries. This is not something we have any control over unfortunately. I trust the above clarifies matters.
