“Not the easiest of items to put together but looks pretty good when up and working; only real concern is that it feels slightly unstable when turning on and off so needs the gentle touch.”

“The lamp looks good and appears sturdy. Unfortunately I did not realise when ordering that it’s halogen bulb would be too hot for my cottage’s low ceilings. It was only after I had assembled it that I could calculate the distance from main bulb to ceiling which is 45cms and the instructions in the packaging say it must have minimum clearance of 50cms. Also I ordered a G9 bulb but it turned out to be the Led G9 version (not 40watt type) and was too big to fit the lamp. So all in all I am disappointed and wish now that I had ordered the more expensive Led version of this lamp. Having on receipt torn the packaging in my excitement at it’s arrival I am now unsure whether I can return it. It may have to find another more roomy home. It would have been very helpful if the clearance figure had been mentioned in the website’s product information. It would also have helped if the order code of the required halogen bulbs was specified.”

“I am very happy with the quality of the product, also the prompt delivery even though I had not paid for next day delivery. My only issue is that being a 70+ woman I found putting the light together a problem. I did as instructed and attempted assembly on the floor but I did find the instructions not clear enough. Having called in my family to help the lamp is perfect but please make the instructions clearer.”
