“I’m impressed with these lights and happy with the effect they give in my garden. I have these connected to the dusk to dawn sensor with timer and all works well. Remembers the colour I selected previously. What is not made clear on the specifications is that these lights have a 4 wire connector beyond the control box and are not compatible with the extension cables which are only 2 wire. This means you are limited to where you can place them as they can only be connected to the provided kit cable. My connections are Transformer 2 wire cable/connector into dusk to dawn sensor with timer. 2 wire cable/connector (input)from control box connected to one of the outputs on the sensor 4 wire kit cable/connector connected to output of control unit I do recommend these lights just plan ahead if you want to incorporate any feature lights into your design.”

“While these are good quality lights, I'm disappointed with the listing and some key facts that are not made clear. Firstly, ALL FOUR LIGHTS ARE THE SAME COLOUR at any given time - you cannot have each lamp a different colour. For me, this was very disappointing and defeated the purpose of a four lamp set. The reason for this is that there is only one receiver unit (not pictured in the listing) that must be placed between the transformer and the first light. Secondly, THESE REMOTE CONTROLED LIGHTS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with the other EasyFit ranges - the connectors are very different and you cannot connect the receiver to a standard transformer, nor can you connect the individual lights into a standard EasyFit layout with other lamps;. Unfortunately, that's what I was hoping to do with these... So I'm going to return them unfortunately: I wanted to intersperse these coloured lamps into my existing setup and this simply wasn't possible. Finally, for reference, and again because the listing is so incomplete, here are the available colours: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Pink/Purple. There is also a final setting that fades through these colours in order, which is quite a nice effect - but the fading happens too quickly for my liking and there is no slow/fast fade option. As I stated, all four lights change colour together, so you cannot control each lamp individually. You can turn the whole set on/off, set the brightness, or change the colours of all four lights (press a button on the control to loop through the colour options). It appears to remember the last setting even when switched off at the plug - but I don't know for how long. Pairing is easy but must be done first time to make the remote work with the set. So this set may meet your needs if you're looking for a standalone set of four lights that will all be the same colour and will be within max. 6 metres of each other (because the extension leads won't work with this set either, so you're limited to the 6m cable that comes with it).”
