Easy to fit to the wall and adjust angle of light. Removal of end caps, to get lamps in, was more difficult than expected but once one was mastered the other was easy.. Does a good job illuminating the painting

Good quality product and looks smart. If there is one modification that could be made it would be to increase the diameter and depth of the circular base. This would make it easier to fit, provide more space for the cable connections and give more stability against the wall.

Partly because I was fitting it to a lath and plaster wall I had to place the wall bracket vertically, then I discovered the chrome cap would not fit to a vertical bracket so I altered the hole in the middle of the cap. Then the holes in the cap did not line up with the threaded holes in the bracket, I removed the bracket and altered its shape in a vice. I can not recall cursing so much in one day after working 50 years as an engineer. I gave it 2 stars as it dose work now it is on the wall.
