“It seems more substantial and better made than other outdoor lamps and it was easy fit (not rleying on fragile plastic clips to install or remove). The light is brighter than we expected and, so far, (2 days!) it has worked fine. In fact, we have just bought a second for another location.”

“The light is well made and of solid construction. It seems as though it should be able to withstand whatever the British weather throws at it. The pir sensor works well and turns the light on quickly on detection of movement. The light is bright but not so bright as to cause a nuisance to my neighbours. It is a little fiddly to connect to the mains but once fitted I am extremely happy with this light and would definitely recommend it.”

“You have to have the sensor very low down for it to pick up close activity. There’s not enough adjustment for the sensor to point downwards so is very disappointing. Would have been better off with a more simplistic cheaper model.”

“I was looking for a security light with a sensor at a sensible price. Having read the reviews I decided to go ahead and order this product and I wasn't disappointed. The first thing that struck me was the weight. It is solidly built and doesn't feel like it might fall to pieces before too long. Both the light and the PIR sensor can be moved to suit the direction of the light and the area that the sensor will pick up, but neither feel flimsy. Once fitted I have found the amount of light that it gives to be more than adequate and the sensor picks up movement very quickly. Adjusting the sensor and the length of time the light stays on is very simple. I read a couple of reviews that said fitting the wiring was a bit fiddly and to that end, I would agree. I got around this by fitting the wiring before screwing the light to a wooden base and then pushing the cable through a hole in the wall and screwing the wooden base to the wall. Over all, I am very pleased with the product and the service I got from Lighting Direct has been very good.”
