“I have two Techmar Plug and Play systems installed in my garden. One has been running for 3 years the other 12 months. Apart from replacing a transformer after 18 months they have been trouble free and provide excellent illumination. The system is easy to install and very flexible as my recent purchase was to provide a new light in an extended part of my garden. I would give this system 10 out of 10.”

“Rather flimsy plastic - take care when inserting into the ground using the supplied ground spike; if you push too hard the base of the lamp unit will crack. Brightness and light colour are good. However, as path lighting they are not very effective as the bulk of the light shines upwards and dazzles you instead of lighting the path. To remedy this I applied some silvered self-adhesive tape to the tops which reflects the light out of the sides and prevents the upwards dazzle. Works well. I would have been better off with down-pointing spotlights, however, for this purpose.”

“Nice bright lights. Easy to install. I have added several more into my original circuit. LED bulb board is easy to replace in the rare event of failure.”
