“This is the second lamp of this type, the first was great and worked straight away. The second one however was a disaster. When connected on the wall and switched on it immediadetly casused earth leakage CB to trip. After checking all connections made to the lamp it immediately tripped again. The supply was connected to bulb assembly only within the lamp and again tripped. Whilst circuit resistance showed M ohms on complete disassembly a wire was found trapped between the bridge clamp and bottom of ciramic lamp holder., this was corrected and lamp now works perfectly. Clearly this is a QC isuue that needs to be corrected.”

Being able to inspect the light directly would have been helpful to both us and the manufacturers.
