This non-corrosive IP65 Tri-proof batten fitting has been designed specifically for use with 2ft fluorescent tubes.The batten's anti-vandal design consists of a number of modular components that combine to ensure that the LED tubes it houses remain protected, both from the elements and the damaging effects of vandalism.The fitting's polycarbonate diffuser is attached to the light bulb tray by a series of stainless steel clips that prevent it from being removed, and the tubes exposed. These clips are constructed from type 316 'marine-grade' stainless steel; a famously rugged material with excellent resistance to corrosion, even from salt water.This robust design is well suited to a range of commercial/industrial applications, including public car parks, supermarkets, workshops and food preparation areas etc.All relevant control gear has been incorporated into the design of the batten, meaning all you need to do is wire the fitting into the mains and install the tube.Requires 2 x 18W 2ft Fluorescent Tubes (Sold Separately)
