Replace your old halogen lighting with this 118mm length Crompton Lamps R7s LED bulb, a compact, double-ended linear LED bulb designed as a direct halogen bulb replacement. With a standard R7s base and clear glass finish, it retrofits into many existing fittings for a quick, energy-saving upgrade. This 9W LED bulb delivers the brightness of a 60W halogen equivalent, producing 790 lumens of crisp 4000K cool white light. It provides instant full brightness with a wide, 360° light output, making it an excellent choice where strong, even illumination is needed.Ideal as an LED floodlight bulb and for common R7s applications such as uplighters, parent and child floor lamps, security lights and display cabinets. With an average rated life of up to 20,000 hours, it helps reduce maintenance and replacement costs compared with traditional halogen lamps.Upgrading from Halogen to LED? Switching to LED offers massive energy savings, but the physical dimensions do differ. Traditional halogen tubes feature a minimal 8mm profile, while this high-output LED version has a diameter of 20mm. This extra width is essential for the built-in LED driver components. To avoid installation issues, please verify that your fixture has enough depth to take a 20mm bulb, especially if you are replacing lamps in older style exterior floodlights or interior uplighters.
