“Used this torch last weekend in an underground bunker … I charged the torch over night till it indicated Green . The torch kept switching off by it’s self leaving me in total darkness which was quite dangerous. Will be looking for another torch am sorry to say …. Need a torch I can trust”

“Epic torch. I use this at work for all sorts of things, but found it especially useful for open area searches and building clearance. It's fantastically bright but being able to step it down is also useful.”

“The build quality and functionality of the torch is brilliant. What let’s it down for me is the beam distance. It doesn’t appear to be as powerful as my previous led lenser torch (sadly lost at work) which had a lower beam distance.”

“I wanted the "Signature" but only the "Core" available. I have had an M7RX for around 4 years and it is a superb device so I know and favour LED Lenser products. I am somewhat disappointed with the controls on the P7R compared to the M7RX. I do not like the on/off switch on the body as it is too easy to switch modes, it also defaults to "Boost" on switch on which is not necessary and wasteful on the battery. The on/off lighting control switch on the end of the body is preferable to me, as per the M7RX. Secondly the "Head twist focus control" is a pain as it requires two hands to change focus. The M7RX has a "Push/Pull" focus facility that can be thumb operated using one hand for holding and changing the focus. In my opinion, the M7RX controls are superior to the P7R. Those features were good and not "Broken" so why has someone tried to "Fix" it and failed? My final point is the instructions for operating, they are too complicated for a simple device and whilst the light modes can be customized, the task appears onerous! At the end of the day, it does the job but not as easy or as good as the older M7RX.”
