“After using a compact head torches for years and thinking these were good i was absolutely blown away when my friend said this is what you call a head torch ! That was it ! A LED LENSER H14.2r was purchased that same evening. What a piece of brilliance it is . I wasn’t a fan of a bulky battery at the back of the head but this torch is so good you don’t notice it , not only that the battery can be clipped to a belt via the extension lead . It really is a phenomenal head torch . If in doubt buy one and you just won’t be disappointed. The beam will light up any situation with the low beam or the high power beam . The settings are easy to understand. The led at the back of the head torch is also a charging indicator. There is only one fault , and that is the red LED on the battery pack switches on and could drain the battery. I’ve got over this by disconnecting the battery from the charge pack . All in all a brilliant head torch 9/10”

“Exceptional light output both in the flood and spot settings. Even on the low light setting there is ample light to work close up. I use the lamp for pest control work so dark attics and barns. It appears robust and I’ve never run out of battery (rechargeable) as yet. The option to adjust light intensity up/down using the rear thumb wheel is superfluous for my use.”

“Only had headtorch for a few weeks and already lost some functionality. Very bright but large and heavy battery pack. Red safety light poor. Overpriced for what it provides.”

“I have yet to use the torch properly but seems very good even though it may seem bulky is rather comfortable and will be bright enough for anyone looking at a powerful head torch for th money this is the best value for money”
