The Gunpowder Plot Immersive Experience Reviews

Superb overall. The bar to start with not very authentic and coloured barrels hard to see when it was your time , unlike the WOTW experience. Really annoyed at how a member of staff gave favouritism to a couple who had just arrived and put them straight onto our que ! Obviously they knew each other and the couple just basically just snogged for 20 minutes whilst we waited to go in. Not a prude but get a room and the staff were oblivious. Oh they were interrupted when a member of staff gave them a free token for the middle bar !!!! Need to montor this as it spoiled our experience. Otherwise usual good experience but dampened by the above. Comments welcomed !

This show satisfied the whole family consisting of two kids 10 and 13. A traditional husband and open minded wife. A great way to have a cultural day with the kids.

This is an interactive experience that involves actors who work hard to tell the story behind the plotters of what we know as Bonfire Night. They try hard to engage the small groups who enter the story rooms and draw them 80th the story. The acting and storytelling is complemented by VR additions to the story. These are good, but the technology did not seem to be stable. When it was, the virtual zip wire ride across London was convincing and quite thrilling. You need to be prepared to join in - you’ll get so much more out of it if you allow yourself to become a part of the drama.
