“Beware! The dye on this yarn is not fixed so will turn your hands and needles blue! Also it is not preshrunk! So you need to wash and fix the yarn before knitting. Although it states the yarn is from ‘upcycled jeans’ and is 100% cotton, there is no indication of the likelihood of shrinkage on the label. It is also awful to join as it is a very ‘strandy’ yarn so is best joined at the edges of whatever you are knitting. It’s a shame as the colour is nice and loosely knitted it has a nice drape. I wouldn’t buy it again :(”
