“I loved how the colour-change happens. I took the advice on the pattern though, swapping the ball of yarn, every two rows. This definitely helped the colour-change effect. There was no need to cut the yarn each time, I just dropped one yarn and used the next. I had tried just using one ball at a time, but the stripes of colour were too wide, so I ripped it out and used the suggested method. I didn’t bother to do that for the sleeves and you can see the difference! However, I’m delighted with the result and so is my granddaughter.”
