“When looking for a dress to wear for a friend s wedding, I was struggling with the simplicity and lack of variety available on the high street. I needed something that, after a breakup, would make me feel like a goddess. Then this caught my eye. Not something I would usually go for, as a woman who spends a lot of time rifling through oceans of black clothing to find the specific black vest needed for that day. I knew I had to have it. Having recently lost 9 stone, I was apprehensive about sizing, but with a few weeks left before the wedding, I riskily ordered a size 16. When it arrived, I was thrilled. I tore open the packaging to find a dress that was everything I needed, and more. The colours as vibrant as the picture promised, and the material with a delicate stretch to hug my curves in the right places. The fit was perfect. I mean PERFECT. This dress was made for me, and me for it. I can t wait to wear it. Absolutely thrilled to have found this gem of a site. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“i absolutely love the fit and length of this dress. It hits me just above the calf, and I am 5 8". I bought this in a size 10, and my measurements are 38-28-39. It fits like a glove. I m, er, generously endowed in the chest department, and found the stretch in the material to be absolutely spot-on; enough give in it to accommodate, but it was not stretched across me or uncomfortable. There was no tightness in the arms, although it is close cut. The colours are bold but absolutely gorgeous - the yellow is not a bright mustard and more a dark yellow/gold, which was beautiful against my paler skin. I found this to be incredibly flattering on a true hourglass and better than the photographs - it really pulls in at the waist and flows out. You will look like a true 1950s superstar. I wore this with a cropped leather jacket and flats, and had plenty of compliments at work. So versatile; you can dress it up for a wedding, or dress it down for a casual day in the office. A real gem of a dress, and once again, excellent quality from Lady V.”

“The only reason I didn t give 5 stars was the dress isn t lined inside, but for under Â£60 and to be made in Britain this is an excellent buy! Different to anything I ve seen in the shops and affordable, very comfy and pretty, love the colours, can t wait to wear it! I bought a tutu for underneath and it finishes it off brilliant!”
