“I had to buy a midmade branded lock as I already had a midmade hatch and it was the only one that would fit. Quality is ok but nothing special. If I was fitting a loft hatch from scratch I would choose one that you can fit any lock to as most only cost a few pounds from DIY stores.”

Unfortunately the Midmade spares are specific to the Midmade ladders and due to the UK branch closing these are now imported from abroad. Hi Richard thank you for leaving us a review, we are very sorry that the product purchased did not meet your expectations. The catches are original Midmade fittings and since moving back to Sweden the import and duty charges have increased the cost of this item. We're happy this has however allowed you to use your loft ladder again. Thank you for your custom.
