“Purchased this item due to being wifi , and no more putting hands into the tank to adjust the heater temperature.it took a few attempts to get it to connect to my home wifi but eventually sorted it. It's a very good heater I am glad I purchased it.”

“This is yet another extremely poor product from Eheim after buying the Eheim auto food feeder a few years back. However this failure is down to the impossible wifi connection effectively does not work. I bought this so i can monitor the heater whilst oversea or away from the home however the conncection can only work locally meaning the wifi needs to connect to its own local network and therefore you need to be approx 1m away in order to see the device appear on the network list. This effectively rules out accessing the device outside of the room. Even to get this far, extensive research is required to know the right IP address. Technically it is possible to go further and connect to the home router, view the Eheim device and then work out the IP address but this only enables you to locally programme some settings before dropping off the network and being invisible again. Most people would not have the know how to access the router and IP address so in short, this does not work.”
