About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

How was the delivery of your order? Good

“I'm used to adding sugar to 100% choc with other brands but don't need to with this one. I guess that helps re skipping a process but if I had one slight criticism across all the different versions is that they are all slightly more on the sweeter side than I would expect for a premium hot chocolate. It's not enough to put me off buying again (which I plan to do again v soon!) but it does leave it feeling slightly less luxurious than others I have tried.”

“This hot chocolate is absolutely delicious! Be careful about following their instructions regarding how to make it. I have only used 2 teasps when making mine, I think 8 would be disgusting, I did start off with 3, but I found that to be too many, I find 2 to be perfect, just the right strength and taste! Maybe they are just trying to sell more chocolate. I could never go back to using powder again. The first time I bought this I also got the 80% and 72% to try, and compared to this were not at all nice. An expensive mistake!”
