About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“I decided to try out Knoops Chocolate Flakes after hearing loads about Hotel Chocolat's Velvetiser. Their product seemed too expensive to try out and that's when I came across Knoops. I love white hot chocolate so I decided to order one and see how I felt. I had mine with Oatly oat milk and in all honesty, I could taste the oat more than I could the hot chocolate. I tried it again but with one teaspoon of honey, whipped cream and cinnamon and the white chocolate flavour was still really minimal. I was disappointed. My current go-to for hot chocolate is Whittard, I love the selection of their unique flavours and will continue my business there. But this was worth a try!”

“I made a kinder beuno hot chocolate with this - half 28% white and half 43% milk and then a little hazelnut syrup! It was delicious”
