About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“I have been looking for a really good hot chocolate, and read a review of Knoops Flakes 70% extra dark. I have a Dualit milk frother so made the order. The result was excellent, and simple.”

“This is my favourite hot chocolate so far. As well as being rich and a beautiful flavour, it has a slight bitterness which I like. And it is not as sweet as some of its competitors.”

“Ordered these after reading the rave Which? review, but sorry to say, this drinking chocolate is not for me. Too acidic, I think. Also, way too expensive. I will stick to good old, good quality cocoa.”

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry that you didn't enjoy our 70% Extra dark chocolate flakes. If you found it too acidic, I would recommend trying a lower percent, perhaps the 65% Dark chocolate flakes that has fruity notes with hints of coffee.
