About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“The hot chocolate tastes great. I have made hot chocolate for my friends when they visit and there is now an expectation that it is offered at every visit. Noses go out of joint if it isn’t offered! Needless to say they all now buy their own.”

“Unfortunately, I think the packaging containers may have gotten damp as the tubes of hot chocolate won’t open by twisting & pulling so they aren’t going to be the lovely presents that I hoped. Customer service response wasn’t helpful The hot chocolate is nice as always but I don’t know if I’ll buy as gifts again”

How was the delivery of your order? Good

“I used to live in Rye, when you first opened. I moved about 7 years ago and really missed your hot chocolate. Everything else just pails into insignificance. I bought the 54% for me, 70% for my husband and the 34% as a Christmas present for my daughter. But after trying the selection box we will buy the 62% and the 80%. It is just as awesome as I remember it.”
