About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“I would like to provide feedback regarding another order of mine, order number KNO104192, which I placed in December 2025. Before ordering, I checked with your team and was advised that the Best Before Date is usually around six months. I understand this is not guaranteed; however, when I received the products, the Best Before Date was 28/04/2026, giving only around four months of shelf life. Recently, I visited one of your physical shops and noticed the same products available with a Best Before Date of xx/12/2026. This made me wonder whether products sold via the online shop have a shorter shelf life compared to those sold in-store. As a customer, this was disappointing, especially given the expectation set at the time of purchase. I hope you can help clarify this and consider how this experience could be improved for future orders.”

“As a lover of all things festive this was an obvious choice and I love it. Will admit the recommended amount was a bit too much for me personally, but have found a measurement that I like. A pinch also works really nicely with Knoops’ coffee, if you enjoy a Christmas blend.”
