About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“Elegantly simple, one button, easy to remove container, easy to clean, easy to use. However you can only do 1 small cup of hot choc which is abit disappointing: also it would be good if the frother beeped after 1 minute which is when you need to add upto 8 scoops of chocolate chips, quickly ! The Knoops chocolate flakes blend very nicely to produce a very satisfying tasty cup of hot chocolate, not too thick and "just right". The liquid could be abit hotter, just hot enough to drink immediately. Have not tried cold milkshake making yet.”

“I didn't realise when I ordered this that it had such a low volume for hot chocolate. This means I need to froth two sets of milk, which is very annoying. Product works well but needs much bigger volume.”

“Excellent little gadget - very very easy to use with no faff. Easy to clean so I use it multiple times a day. It will make one cup of hot milk. I wished they had a similar 2 cup version. I would definitely recommend it.”

“1st class. So very pleased with it. With full fat milk I get probably 2 inches of froth in my morning coffee. The milk doesn't stick to the frother, it's perfect temperature and super quick to make. Recommend.”

“Lovely, silky, foamy milk - just need to prefect making an image on the top! I love my new Knoops milk heater, as I am addicted to hot chocolate. My only issue is that the chocolate flakes recommended with the product are not suitable to add into the milk when making it in the machine! You can only use powder. It's not a big issue to mix the milk and chocolate separately - and in fact it makes me feel a little bit like a barrista, taking time to enjoy the process as well as the end result - but it was a little disappointing to notice that advice in the guide book.”
