The silkscreen process is ideally suited to creating bold, bright images. A separate screen is used for each colour layer and many screens can be used to create a single image. All our silkscreens prints are hand-pulled by highly skilled printers. From the proofing of each colour to the choice of the paper, every decision is made with the artist's intentions in mind, resulting in an extremely high quality finish.

“Having seen "The Velvets" at the Tate Modern some years ago, we eventually decided to buy a print. We are delighted with it and it is the focus of our sitting room. The quality of the print is exceptional. King and McGaw dispatched it on the day they initially indicated. Parcel Force told us they would deliver the next day. When the next day arrived Parcel Force told us they had a problem and could not deliver - Parcel Force lived up to their reputation of being unreliable! The print was very well packaged and withstood the journey. My suggestion to King and McGaw is that the hanging points could very easily be mounted inside the frame so that they would be invisible and the frame would then sit flush against the wall. “This is my second print from King & McGaw which must say something. The Velvets is both wide and bright; it fills that gap on the wall above the bedhead perfectly. A lovely quality Matisse!”
