No.22 from the series Le Petit Echo de la Mode is created from French domestic tailoring patterns, which comprise layers of life-sized templates of an entire womans garment on a single sheet of paper. This encoded web of dots, lines and numbers shatters the female form into precise overlapping facets, flattened not as views of a subject but as the object itself. Narielwalla explores the human body in geometrical abstract form by pasting delicate sheets of coloured paper within the intersections of the pattern.
