I can't do better than quote from Berthe Morisot's daughter Julie Manet's diary after a visit to a viewing and sale of canvases by Berthe, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir: "Saturday, 17 March 1894. I adore this portrait - the brushwork is so good and the blacks are quite magnificent. Oncle Édouard (Manet) was such a master of the paintbrush." I totally agree. I adore this portrait too, and I'm very grateful to King & McGaw for the opportunity to add it to my own collection of Impressionist art.

A wonderful portrait of a great artist herself. And the quality of the reproduction and framing make the picture a delight to hang on our wall.

This is, in my view, the best of Manet's portraits. It is exquisite! Berthe Morisot was a splendid choice as a model, being herself one of the best of the Impressionist painters as well as a very attractive woman. The portrait shows her strength of will as well as her humanity. The product is of exceptional quality for its price (In fact, it was no more expensive than a kit I bought from an entirely different producer to mount one of my own watercolours myself). There is excellent workmanship in the mounting and framing of the Manet portrait of Berthe Morisot at a highly competitive price. I would most certainly recommend the producers of this product and would use them again for mounting prints.
