“Still early days to say about its ability to stand up to weather but first impressions are good. It was delivered in a timely manor in a few boxes that were smaller than expected. I built it mostly on my own but you do need at least two people at stages and a step ladder. It wasn’t difficult to assemble and we I built it in about 3 hours. The roof panels were a pain to build though and could prove difficult if you’re not used to building stuff. (I’m a race car mechanic and these skills come in handy) Now we have used it a bit I can say it looks great, love the sliding roof panels and the built in lights are good enough to allow you to sit outside in to the night. As others have mentioned the roof is not designed to keep rain out but more as a sun shield but obviously with open sides I wasn’t expecting it too. The roof has holes so water doesn’t pool up there. It seems much more sturdy and better engineered than your average B&Q/Homebase pergola. Very pleased so far and has allowed us to use the garden much ore as a living space.”
