“It works to help the water run off the table top. I bought a new cover because the old one leaked on the seams and condensation formed on the table top. Not a major problem but I hope this will prevent it in the future. Why there are 2 uprights is beyond me as 1 lifts the cover sufficiently. Why it’s £14.99 when the cost of making it is about pence is also jarring but that’s life.”

To answer your question about additional poles within the stand, this is because it is a universal product and certain covers within our range may require the cover to be elevated slightly higher than just one extension. I hope that this helps.
“Was looking forward to using this on my Kettler garden set with rain and autumn/winter now with us or soon to be. However, unlike many of the other Kettler products purchased, this buy has been extremely disappointing and does not work very well + £15 wasted! The pole either or both falls down and rain puddling on top of the cover still occurs!
As a loyal customer, very disappointed and would not recommend to others.
