“What an amazing beautiful place, everything was perfect, the house and grounds were immaculate and the house was very well equipped, I would love to think I will get the opportunity to return sometime soon”

“Took a group of friends to Wellacres to celebrate my birthday. It is a fantastic house in a beautiful setting. It has plenty of space, both inside and out. It's great to see tables both inside and outside large enough to seat a large group. Bear in mind that it is not modern or pristine, and there are elements that could be described as 'rustic' but to me that just adds to the charm. A few useful things to note or that I learned that would have been useful to know. The oven takes ages to heat up and runs a little cold. If you have very small children, bear in mind that the kitchen cupboards do not have child locks on. There will be bread and milk when you arrive. The kitchen is really well stocked but there is no handwhisk. The butchers in the village is fantastic. The above is not to do Wellacres down in any way. The staff at Kate & Tom's were helpful and responsive throughout, and Alison took time to show us round and make us feel welcome.”

“The house was beautiful. We had everything we needed. Fabulous kitchen and dining area. Wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the lounges and layout of the house.”

“We had a wonderful time celebrating my 70th birthday at Wellacres house. There were sixteen of us from 9 years to 74 years and there was plenty there to please us all. There house is exceptionally well appointed and equipped to cater for the larger party group. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The only criticism I can make is that some of the outside furniture needs replacing, there was only one parasol and that was ripped and the netting on the trampoline was unsafe.”

“Wonderful location. Excellent accommodation...well-appointed, full of character, well-equipped and cleaned to a high standard. Our wide family had a most enjoyable and memorable weekend at Wellacres House, for which we are deeply grateful. Service throughout from "Kate and Tom's" was second to none. Very impressed!”

“Fabulous house in the country. Thoroughly enjoyed a family occasion - a joint 70th and 40th father and son birthday celebration - at Wellacres. Despite us being 14 there was plenty of space for everyone. The weekend could not have gone any better as our whole party fell in love with the house and the surrounding grounds. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas all high spec and the large kitchen and dining area a dream. Outside hot tub a huge hit. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
