“Mangerton House is a large house, suitable for big family parties, groups of friends and weddings etc. The facilities are superb - from a wonderfully warm shallow indoor swimming pool, steam room, gym, games room, media room and outdoor table tennis to outdoor natural swimming pool, lawns for croquet, a camping area etc. The bedrooms are all very well appointed, but the lighting was too dim for our liking. There are 2 large sitting rooms and a huge, very well-equipped kitchen. Everything was beautifully clean and the housekeeper was most helpful and welcoming. We would come again in a heartbeat! A few small items we brought to the housekeeper's attention were dead lightbulbs, a few missing door keys and some annoying cluster flies. When we first looked at the house, there was a basketball hoop, which was missing and much missed by our sporty grandchildren.”

“Lovely house in excellent location near beaches and walks, with great facilities including indoor pool and fantastic gardens. The camp in the woods with fire pit, hanging tepe, etc was a great place for both adult and kids to enjoy an afternoon down by the river. Loved the slightly shabby chic interior decoration and furnishings downstairs combined with all the latest gadgets and technology you could want. Very friendly caretakers just next door. The only disappointment was that the beds were all rather hard and not what you'd expect from such an expensive and luxury house - nearly all our guests both young and older mentioned this so its not just me. And I'm not really sure about the boat and lake as advertised which seemed to be in a fenced off area seemingly belonging to the local model boat club??”

“What a beautiful house everything about this place is quality. Fantastic communal kitchen for socialising. Wonderful oool area and steamroom. We had the best weekend ever with family and friends, we were not disappointed about anything.”
