“Lovely family house in a lovely setting. Lots of space,however the place had not been thoroughly cleaned,the swimming pool was cold and the cover in tatters and the sky tv package was just basic. The annexe was ill equipped and the tv did not work.”

“Outstanding house! Christmas decorations and hamper were way above expectations. Friendly welcome from Brett who also delivered us a wood chopper as the logs were too large for the grate! Everything worked well and we particularly appreciated the large kitchen, log fires, en suites and annexe ( the annexe oven was very useful as our turkey would not fit into the aga!). Lovely village - very wet when we were there but all roads were passable (apart from the ford which we were warned to avoid). Highly recommended!”

“The perfect house to celebrate that special occasion with family and friends. Well equipped with everything needed. Plenty space for everyone- especially as it was a very wet weekend! Nothing we could about the weather, the house accommodated our every need.”

“Family of 16 had a fabulous weekend at Holmegate House, great peaceful location, House well equipped with all the essentials for our stay as well as a lovely food hamper, clean and warm on arrival. Great communication before and during our stay from Brett to ensure any concerns We have would be taken care of. Would highly recommend this accommodation Thank-you”

“A great party house with a lot of room and huge dining table. Everyone really enjoyed our alfresco breakfasts and Lulworth cove is easily accessible. Some of our guests said the beds were some of the best they'd slept in - a wonderful weekend had by all.”
