“Exceptional! We had an extended family gathering over Christmas 2019. Bristowe Hill accommodated us magnificently - lovely bedrooms, a formal dining room which looked a picture on Christmas Day, spacious living areas and a great location, with walking distance to pubs, Keswick and some lovely short and day walks all from the house. There were lots of extra touches - Christmas trees and decorations, a welcome pack, a really well stocked house (so we wanted for nothing) - and made to feel very welcome by the local managers who were available in case of any questions and provided helpful advice on local places to eat etc. The house is large enough for people to have time and space if they need it, but also supports large family gatherings such as ours. Cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“What a fabulous spacious house! There were 18 of us staying to celebrate my 60th birthday and we all enjoyed our time there enormously. The views from the house are fantastic and Keswick is nearby with lovely walks and pubs on the door step.”

“A wonderful week in the lake district with my family, the weather was great and the views from Bristowe Hill were stunning. The house was fantastic, a dream come true, everything was provided and the facilities were excellent I would recommend Bristowe Hill without reservation”

“Bristowe Hill is a fabulous house to stay in. Everything was wonderful- the reception rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, orangery & grounds. I can't fault it & would love to stay there again.”
