“Great house, we were on a girls family weekend from beginning to end everything was fantastic, bedrooms were all great ,kitchen had everything we needed, small lounge cosy, we mostly sat in large lounge, sofas were a little uncomfortable but we would still go back, dining room brilliant,bathrooms all good, hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed”

“I would say a real home from home, but this place is WAY NICER than my home! Felt like I was living a millionaire lifestyle for the weekend! The house has everything going for it. Location is stunning, gardens are enormous, there is every kitchen utensil you could ever wish for and a movie for every occasion. So much space to chill out in or spend with family and friends. I cannot praise this home enough.”

“Lovely house and front garden and space in the back garden, although shame about the poor fruit trees at the back and the nettled fruit cage. Very happy to return if the occasion arises. Owner was very prompt in attending to the boiler when the pilot light blew out and we lost hot water. Some comments re maintenance: some internal doors do not close properly or lock easily and some bathroom mirror lights not functioning. A knife sharpener in the kitchen would be useful. My son would have liked an expresso machine! The hose that connects the outdoor tap to the outdoor sink by the BBQs is almost blocked so sink is unusable.”

“The house was acceptable but there were a few concerns, we arrived and was greeted by the owner who gave me a whirlwind tour of the house and was quite rude to one of the guests who asked questions about the accommodation and the use of the BBQ hut at which point she told told him to shut up! She later emailed saying he kept interrupting her however we had to ask questions quite quickly because she rushed from one room to the other and we did wait until she had finished talking at all times. The garden furniture was old and in disrepair as was the summer house and the BBQ hut, the electrics to one side of the house fused a couple of times and we had concerns about the wiring. There were cobwebs in the bedrooms above the beds not nice to look at. The sofas in the large lounge were rather uncomfortable and cushions needed turning round so you didn't slide of the sofas. The small lounge appears to be recently updated as was much more comfortable.”

“Beechgrove House was a fantastic location for our Hen Do. There were 12 of us on the trip and there was so much space for us all to relax, eat and party! The walk down to the beach was a beautiful bridle path and the perfect distance to get a bit of fresh air. The owners were fantastic, helpful and friendly - they met us on arrival to take us around the property and make sure we were settled in comfortably. I can not recommend highly enough - I will definitely be returning with my family.”
