“JLo Live is such a fun, uplifting perfume and one of those fragrances that instantly puts you in a good mood. It opens with a really juicy burst of Italian orange, Sicilian lemon and pineapple, which gives it that bright tropical cocktail feel straight away. The fruity citrus opening is energetic, sweet and playful without feeling too sharp, and it has that lovely sunshine-on-skin vibe that makes it perfect for everyday wear. Once it settles, the heart becomes softer and more feminine with redcurrant blossom, violet and pink peony. This is where the fragrance feels a little smoother and more floral, while still keeping that fruity sweetness running through it. The peony adds a fresh pretty softness, while the violet gives it a slightly powdery edge that makes it feel more polished and grown up. The dry down is my favourite part because the vanilla, caramel, tonka bean and sandalwood come through and make it warmer and creamier on the skin. It keeps the sweetness going but adds this cosy, slightly sexy softness that makes it really addictive. It’s sweet without being sickly and has that easy throw on, feel good kind of energy. The only real downside is that the longevity is more average than amazing, and on some people it can fade after a few hours. But honestly, for the price, it’s such good value that you can spray generously and top it up through the day without even thinking about it, which actually suits the carefree vibe of the fragrance perfectly. Overall, it’s a gorgeous fruity floral gourmand that feels playful, feminine and nostalgic, especially if you love tropical sweet scents with a creamy vanilla caramel finish.”
