“A blind buy dupe for Imagination has been hyped to the moon, so I wanted to judge it individually. It opens as a spiced citrus aromatic, noticeably more intense than expected. The cinnamon and ginger immediately push forward and it bring that woody undernote front and centre, almost dry warmth rather than a fresh sparkle. It’s punchy and far spicier than the online descriptions suggest. Projection is solid for the first 2–3 hours, after which it settles into that tea, ginger, citrus skin scent. During a work event it lasted around 5–6 hours before fading to a very light trace. I wouldn’t call this blind buy safe, and there are less spice heavy interpretations on the market that I’d like to explore. Overall, it’s not a bad scent, in fact the spice adds a level of complexity that isn’t talked as much as it being fresh, but it’s certainly not the effortless citrus some people make it out to be.”

“Very Disappointing – Poor Performance and Unpleasant Opening I had high expectations for Marwa after seeing the positive reviews and comparisons to much more expensive fragrances, but unfortunately I’m very disappointed. The opening is quite harsh and strange to my nose, almost like an air freshener, and I found it unpleasant. After it settles, the fragrance becomes extremely soapy and doesn’t have the smooth, luxurious quality I was expecting. The biggest disappointment, however, is the performance. On my skin the projection becomes very weak quite quickly, to the point where I can barely smell it on myself, and the longevity is nowhere near what I expected from an Eau de Parfum. I understand fragrance is subjective and performance can vary from person to person, but based on my experience I wouldn’t repurchase this one. There are much better-performing fragrances available around this price point.”
