“61 year old man with the classic flaky facial T-section here. I've tried just about everything,including various combinations involving organic shea butter,aloe vera,tea tree,witch hazel,avocado,wheatgerm,almond,grapeseed etc. all of which failed dismally to have any noticeable effect longer than a couple of days. Out of desperation I even tried O'Keeffe's working hands,and it actually worked (their skin repair lotion did nothing for me). However,having looked at the ingredients I decided to go back to basics,and tried Boots Glycerin BP (Glycerol) which is vegetable sourced and cheap as chips,which also worked brilliantly,but is of course pretty sticky. I started reading encouraging reports about Hyaluronic acid,and can confirm this is absolutely brilliant for me.Just 3 or 4 drops spread gently onto a clean face,washed with luke-warm water only,followed immediately by a small blob of The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA over the same area,and so far I've had no problems whatsoever,and will be ordering again.I also have a SleekZen humidifier running on its lowest (cold) setting 5 or 6ft away whenever I'm home,24/7 if necessary,which helps immensely.”
