“Considering this purple shampoo is more expensive than other well-known brands available in most supermarkets, and the attention it has received online, I expected a better result. It is very pigmented and I would recommend using gloves if you don’t want to stain your nails or and dry skin, as even after a few seconds skin turns purple. This does serve its purpose and most yellow tones are neutralised pretty quickly, however, not as dramatically as the online viral videos would have you believe. I used this 2 days in a row, leaving it in for 5 minutes each time, and whilst my hair is platinum, I haven’t been able to achieve that silver/white look that I wanted. The product works, but I’d rather pay a couple of pounds for a high street brand such as A Touch of Silver, which gives the same result if you leave it on for a longer amount of time. Also, the smell of the Fanola shampoo isn’t the greatest.”

“My hair was so brassy after my last appointment. I had used a couple of silver shampoos which had marginally helped but then was recommended Fanola. I didn’t even have to leave it on my hair for a few minutes, I just washed and rinsed and my hair was drastically different. All the brass through me ends with just the slightest tinge at my roots. Next time I shampoo I’ll leave it on my roots for a little longer and I’m sure it will have banished the brass. I’m so impressed! By far the best silver shampoo I’ve ever used.”
