“This jacket has a tailor fit so I bought a large; usually a medium is my size in normal Barbour fits. As a result the sleeves are slightly too long but not in a troublesome way and a compromise somewhere was needed in taking the large size. The extra length gained by having a large works to advantage. I am just over 40 inch chest measured.
It is a decently warm jacket with its fleece lining but certainly not a cold weather jacket on its own. It can be worn as a mid layer or with a jumper underneath (another reason for going a size up) to gain that extra warmth at such times.
Overall it is a versatile piece which I got at a really good price (70% off RRP from Jules B). I am really pleased with my purchase.”
