East to follow and comprehend with a host of useful resources provided during and after certification, leaving anyone taking the certification very confident in their chances of landing a ESL teaching job and being able to do it well.

ITTT helped me learn a lot about teaching English as a foreign language. The videos were especially helpful with clear examples of the material I was learning. The website itself was very easy to navigate. I will definitely use the knowledge I have gained from ITTT in the classes I teach in the future.

I am satisfied and I believe that this course was interesting and useful. One only concern maybe was the short review to write each chapter I found really annoying, because some units weren't to be reviewed. On the contrary the organization chapter the videos and the material were really well done and good described.

They vaguely answered my questions and gave me no clear steps to follow as to were I'm supposed to do

We’re sorry you feel our responses were vague. Below is a summary of our email responses to you. You are welcome to contact us via email should you require clarification or any further information. On the 8th of April, you sent your course tutor an email with a question about auxiliary verbs. She replied the next day to clarify what the three auxiliary verbs are and what their purpose is. You submitted your summative task on the 1st July and on the 2nd July we sent you an email confirming that you had successfully completed the course. At that stage, you also received an email containing links to PDF copies of your certificate and the accompanying letter. On the 3rd of July, you contacted us to ask if you could make a correction to the name on your certificate. We replied on the 5th of July and explained that your certificate had already been printed and sent out in the name you originally provided. However, we offered you the option of issuing a replacement with your full name. On the 8th of July, you made a payment for two replacement certificates. We replied the same day asking you to confirm that you wanted to receive two copies of your certificate. Later the same day, you contacted us to ask for a refund of your payment. On the 9th of July, we asked you to confirm that you wanted a refund for the full amount and that you no longer wanted a new certificate with your full name. On 10th July you sent us an email saying you wanted to cancel the payment because your name was incorrect on the certificate. On the 12th of July, we sent you an email confirming that your payment had been refunded in full. On the 16th of July, you contacted us to ask if you could get your certificate corrected because your middle name wasn’t included originally. On the 19th of July, we told you again that you could have a new certificate issued. We asked you to get back to confirm your full name, i.e. how it should appear on the certificate. You replied on the 20th of July and confirmed your full name. At that stage, you also asked us for your certificate number and a phone number that you could contact us on. We replied the same day, advising that you already had a PDF copy of your certificate and that we would be happy to answer any questions you might have via email (as per the course instructions).

I am close to retirement from a long career in HR. I want to "give something back" and teaching English to people in Thailand where i will retire to was something I would love to do, so i enrolled in this course. I had 6 months to complete the 20 units, and I needed all of them, so the flexibility of being able to study when I could at the same time as working was a real bonus. As a native English speaker, I thought it would be easy! Think again. The English language, grammar and language structure (even though i had thought I had learned most of it at school), was more challenging than I anticipated. The course covered all I needed, from assessing student ability and needs, classroom set up, teaching materials and ideas and most importantly (for me anyway) an ESA structure for lessons. Even though I have 2 Masters Degrees and have presented in front of large audiences, I feel proud of myself to have completed the course (and no I didn't get the perfect score), but without this course knowledge, I could have gone into voluntary teaching and done my students a disservice. I actually will be more nervous teaching my first class than I would be presenting to business leaders. By the way, the on line videos and the course materials are excellent, which I now have stored on my laptop for future reference. My only criticism of the course, would be that not all (a very few) of the multiple choice questions in the tests, could be interpreted differently leading to getting the answer wrong.
