“I came across this course on Google, I was little skeptical about the program and procedure as it's my first ever experience doing course from abroad. Once I registered, the administration staff was very helpful on every step of my course. The system is easy to follow, we have tutor online anytime we need, the topics and units were very helpful and educative. 120 hours course was a good decision for me. The evaluation was tricky and fully based on our understanding of the topic. Thank you ITTT for giving me the opportunity to improvise and develop myself professionally and personally.”
“As a current Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, I found the course content to be very useful. I studied TESOL in college but it was a non-certification minor. Most of the information in the ITTT course was not new to me. I enjoyed being able to complete the course at my own pace while working full-time. The course textbook was relatively easy to follow but lacked explanations and examples at times. It is a nice feature to be able to download the units as PDFs. I was able to study the chapters at work without having access to the internet. For those with a basic knowledge of TESOL and ESL, this course should not be too difficult, however, for those with zero background it could be challenging. The unit tests are difficult if you do not read thoroughly. The final assessment is a good time for reflection and gives the student a chance to talk about their experiences with TESOL.”
“I found the course to be more of a challenge than expected in some areas. But was looking for that since I do not have a formal education in this field.
My goal is to be an assistant language teacher in Japan. So I felt that I needed this to get a solid foundation of teaching English to non-native speakers.
I do suggest that all the Study Units in pdf be capable of highlighting text for easier referencing in the future.”
“Many of the points were extremely well documented and the basis of teaching English can definitely be found in this course. However when taking some exams it feels as if some of the questions were not answered in the book that I got wrong when I looked back and some topics seemed to be based off of opinion.”
