It was OK, but it was almost entirely text-based- except for two short videos in one unit. Because of this, it's difficult to watch real teachers and see how all the information works in real life. Without videos of teachers who bring it all together using a variety of techniques, it's hard to model behaviors. Videos please! It would also be nice to get some feedback on all the essays.

Thank you for your review. We feel that the 120-hour course already presents the information needed for a comprehensive introduction into the skills and qualities needed to be an effective TEFL teacher. More videos of teachers teaching lessons would certainly be a good idea, but that would increase the number of hours significantly. A 120-hour certificate is all most TEFL teachers need to secure their first teaching position. You may want to review some of the many lessons available on YouTube of teachers delivering lessons.

The materials were fundamental stepping stones towards teaching abroad and it is comprehensible even when a learner has not been teaching before. I would recommend ITTT certification should there be a colleague who are also interested to take up teaching as part of their career experience.

It was such an enjoyable moment going through the 120hours TESOL/TEFL training. A careful perusal of the course reveals a rich and satisfactory content. Relatively easy to go through even for someone that is highly busy. ITTT is highly recommended for anyone wishing to start a career or improve in teaching English as a second language.

I opted for the online 120 Hour Course without Tutor Support. The Course Introduction recommended a number of books on Teaching TESOL and English Grammar etc. Given that the Course Lessons were pretty comprehensive, the books were still extremely helpful in exploring the subject matter in greater detail. I am sure that if I had opted for the Tutor Support I would have been able to correct any misunderstandings that I had fairly quickly. The course was instrumental in teaching me that we all have to reflect on our teaching practice and to consider that what we have previously believed may not be the correct (or only) way to approach the teaching of English. There was a continuity in the way and order that the lessons were presented. At first I found it frustrating not to be able to download all the lessons, however after a couple of tests I appreciated that this method meant that the material was fresh in your mind. This also ensured that the tests covered only the material in the Units that you had studied. I thoroughly enjoyed the Course and would recommend it to anyone wishing to embark on the TESOL journey.
