“I would still recommend this luggage set due to the size that you get, however, as I've never used a hardshell case, I was not sure on what to believe when it comes to ABS and durability of the hard shell. Needless to say, I took the leap with BritBag. I decided to try out the large bag on a shorter trip to Italy, instead of the long haul I'm yet to do in a month, and I must say I was disappointed to see the bottom of my luggage completely scraped. I didn't expect this to happen on a 2 hour one way trip to Italy, but then again we do know how baggage is handled, and it's not a pretty sight. The luggage itself is intact but it's definitely not scratch free in any way, as there's scratches all over. Worried to see what happens on the return. Or even long haul. For my first hard shell case, it could be worse. Space wise, this specific luggage set is incredible! As for scratches, maybe that was inevitable. The scrape however, I don't think so...
