“This case will be taking its first trip in about a week so can't say how it will stand up to the baggage smashers at Gatwick. It's two kilos lighter than our old case and more capacious. We bought an IT cabin bag about 12 years ago that stood us well until it fell foul of easyJet's downsized cabin allowance. So we had no doubts about the brand. In the old case you could unzip the lining to stow small soft stuff between the runners. You can't do that with the IT case but it's a small point. The service was excellent.”
