The Interfit hospital bed stretchy fitted sheets for single beds are supplied to hospitals and nursing homes. The sheet fits a hospital bed a single profile bed or a long single bed. The sheet has four-way stretch and blue stretchy edging for a comfortable fit on a single bed mattress. The sheet is so stretchy and easy to handle it can be fitted onto the bed by one person. Also as this latex free stretchy bed sheet contains no elastic you don't need to be concerned about patient allergies.

“The sheets fitted as I expected them to fit for this type of bed, lots of stretch in them and they washed well. The only gripe I have is nothing to do with the products, it was the cost of p&p which was £7.50, now I wouldn't have had a problem with that as it was supposed to be 24 hour tracked and they were for my Dad and he was in need of them straight away. I ordered them on Friday evening and I know there's no post on Sunday but they didn't arrive until 2.45pm on Tuesday. At £7.50 I'm sorry but I expect next day delivery, especially as you deal with hospitals and care homes i thought the service would have been better than this...Debbie Ashton..”

Dear Debbie, Many thanks for letting us know that you're happy with the bed sheets. However, we're sorry to hear that your felt the delivery was delayed. Having looked into this, your parcel was packaged and sent off via Royal Mail 24hr tracked service on Monday 22 Feb and as you say, you signed for it on Tuesday 23 Feb. The last despatch for parcels on a Friday is at 1pm, any orders received after this are processed on Monday morning. Your order was placed on Friday at 4:50pm, hence the Monday despatch date. This information is provided on our Delivery page. We're sorry if there was any misunderstanding about this. Regarding hospitals and care homes, if they need an emergency order to arrive on a Saturday we can arrange a special delivery but this does cost quite a bit extra. This isn't something we offer as a regular option, but it can be arranged over the phone if needed. We hope the sheets continue to be useful for your Father. “The quality is first class, but the fitted sheet is a bit big for the hospital bed mattress, it would fit a 10" mattress much better than the normal 6" profiling mattress usually used”
