Large latex-free unisex gripper socks with non-slip tread underneath the sole and on top of the feet are worn to reduce the risk of patients falling in hospital and in care homes. The double tread is especially important if the socks have twisted around the feet in bed the patient can still be confident that when they get out of bed there will be some non-slip tread touching the floor to prevent falling. Please note that these slipper socks are colour-coded to help NHS staff find the right size for a patient quickly therefore the socks aren't available in a range of colours per size. The large gripper socks are available in blue only. These non-slip socks are available from S to 3XL view the full range. Please note that the size shown is suitable for non-swollen feet. If you are buying slipper socks for feet that may be swollen we recommend you order the next size up from the usual shoe size.

“These socks are great for my elderly mother who can't wear slippers. They have a good grip and she finds them comfortable. They will last for about 12 months before the tread wears down and that is with regular washing, so good value for money”

“the size guide suggested go for a size larger if swollen feet. The client has size 5 feet slightly swollen - the size was 5 -8 so I thought that would do. I am sure this would not have fitted a size 8 thin foot let alone a swollen size 5. So, useless and expensive including the delivery they cost £30. What are the options for returning the remaining 4 still in their packaging and getting some refund?”
