The compression stocking slider is a tool to fit tight-fitting open toe compression stockings on patients. It can also be helpful for closed toe compression socks but only if there is an inspection hole beneath the toes - so that there is some way to pull out the Stocking Slider. For example it works well with the Interweave HealthyLegs compression socks. Very helpful and easy to use in combination with compression socks. Nurses who fit TED socks (thromboembolic deterrant) on patients also report that the Stocking Slider works very well for this purpose too especially now that the TED socks aren't provided with a plastic bag. Users find that the stocking slider reduces the troubles and issues they find with putting compression socks into others. The stocking slider is made from 60gsm PU coated polyester.
