Extra slippy re-usable tubular slide sheets are available in teal silicone coated polyester fabric. These sheets are supplied to manual handling trained staff for moving and positioning patients. The fabric is perfect for moving and handling. For infection control the slide sheets can be washed in a hot wash up to 80 degrees centigrade. Do not use chlorine bleach or softener when laundering the slide sheets as this will be detrimental to the silicone coating.
