These extra large re-usable flat slide sheets with handles are supplied to hospitals and nursing homes and are very useful as a bariatric slide sheet. The reusable slide sheets are available in teal 100% silicone coated polyester fabric. For infection control the slide sheets can be washed in a hot wash up to 80 degrees centigrade. Most importantly be careful not to use chlorine bleach or softener when laundering the slide sheets as this will be detrimental to the silicone coating.
