About Infinity Motorcycles:

Infinity Motorcycles was established in 1999 by Rob Puttick and Dave Holloway, both veterans of the UK motorcycle trade. From humble beginnings in a former bank on the North Circular in London, Infinity Motorcycles now has 14 branches, from Glasgow to Southampton, and an online department, employing a total of around 150 people.

Everyone likes a bargain, but we try and make sure we offer a bit more too. Our staff turnover is low and we invest more in staff training than anyone else we know of in the bike trade - we don't think these two facts are mutually exclusive! Infinity Motorcycles takes Customer Service seriously. So Dave and Rob still want to hear from you about your experience of shopping with us, good or bad.

Bought to replace an x4 and has not disappointed, great fit with usual Arai quality finish. Love the improved view through the visor but until the weather improves I can't comment on the venting. Really like the adventure grey but lots of colour ways to choose from. If your thinking of changing from the x4 to the x5 go for it and hopefully you'll be as happy as I am.

Firstly, would like to thank Infinity for their absolutely incredible customer service from start to finish. We went back a forth a few times with different sizes and some other issues, and they were fantastic the entire way. Very responsive, accomodating and professional. Can't recommend them enough! As for the helmet - the quality is as expected from Arai. It certainly feels handmade and you can really feel the quality the moment you take it out of the box. The visor and peak release system is great (don't forget to lube it up). The field of vision is insane, I couldn't imagine using anything else now. Very reasurring seal and click in the down position. Yet to ride in enough rain to test the seal, but just by looking at the seal with the naked eye tells me that no leaks will be possible. As mentioned in a few reviews, there is a slight rattle coming from one of the vents on the roof of the lid, but nothing too bad. The space/pocket between the inner shell and your ears is really quite something...never experienced this in a helmet before and it's incredible how comfortable it is for your ears. With glasses, absolutely flawless (depending on how close you decide to push out your speakers to your ears). Gone are the days spent flipping your ears back over. It actually took some getting used to this extra space. It's definitely not a noisy helmet, but not the quietest either. Intercom was abit of a faff as usual, and the cable tidy system seem abit pointless to me. The cable pocket in the liner is cool, but you can only do this for one of the speaker cables, unless you have a separate Left and Right cable going to your module. The rest I had to route underneath the liner. The liner also has cutouts/holes for your cable management, this is really good and very convenient. Removing and replacing the cheekpads was also abit of a shock to me - how incredibly simple and 'manual' it is. No clips or poppers whatsoever, it just fits in nice and snug. The way the velcro on the cheek pads (which also act as velcro for your speakers to sit on) secures to the inner shell is also really, really simple, and impressive. This not only makes your speakers easy to access, but also gives you a few options for moving them around for perfect placement without having to pull anything out of the way. Ventilation is very good, and it's been truly put to the test in the recent 27 degree weather. The chin curtain is probably the only neutral/negative point I could give. It does work, but it also slides back in far too easily and only pops out about 15mm or so. I opted for L at first, and to my surprise, ended up going with an M. Be sure to try multiple sizes, even if you think you are sure. I almost always take L, but the M was just that little bit more snug. Incredible helmet, and glad to spend the extra on the X5 over the X4. The improvements are for sure totally worth the extra investment.

I couldn't be more impressed with the Tour X5. A little expensive but my previous X4 lasted me years. Its comfortable, quiet and feels like lightweight on my head, plus the matt black goes so well with my Scrambler
