About Infinity Motorcycles:

Infinity Motorcycles was established in 1999 by Rob Puttick and Dave Holloway, both veterans of the UK motorcycle trade. From humble beginnings in a former bank on the North Circular in London, Infinity Motorcycles now has 14 branches, from Glasgow to Southampton, and an online department, employing a total of around 150 people.

Everyone likes a bargain, but we try and make sure we offer a bit more too. Our staff turnover is low and we invest more in staff training than anyone else we know of in the bike trade - we don't think these two facts are mutually exclusive! Infinity Motorcycles takes Customer Service seriously. So Dave and Rob still want to hear from you about your experience of shopping with us, good or bad.

Bought a new C5 to replace a GT Air 3 which was itself bought to replace a lost C5. Despite its initial visor issues (my first got very tough to open - so far so good with the new one) which Infinity were great with and got fixed, the C5 I think is the better helmet of the two. Quieter and more comfortable, less buffetting from turbulent wind on n adventure bike, noticeably better ventillation, and better in the cold, wet, and heat. After using it the GT Air feels like it's designed for a naked or sports bike so I'm sure it's great there, but the C5 takes the cake on a V Strom with a tall screen. Intercom sounds great, the remote for the intercom is wireless and the battery I found never lasted long but the bluetooth system itself always worked well.

I found it love-hate with this helmet. It's very comfortable and quiet and very well made. The buckle is great and has a fabric tag to grab onto with gloves to release. The visor latching system was a big gripe - it takes force to fully close down sometimes requiring a hand on each side. Infinity did something to it that made it work better but it was basically luck. It causes torsion on the visor which made the pinlock un-seat from the visor surface, so water ran between the pinlock and the visor in the rain which quickly became a wet and misted mess. The expansion of the chin bar when you lock it down also affects how hard the visor is to open and close. The visor itself is great, easy to remove and I didn't have the problem of it moving with wind. Sun visor is great, sometimes was misted when you dropped it but that's a feature of most drop down visors. It creaks a lot inside with movement. The ventillation is decent but didn't work well for me, I think because the visor vent inlet faces upwards if you've got a screen which directs wind up over your head there's not much flow to go down into the front vent, so I couldn't rely on it for demisting. Front and top vents are good. The top vent button rattled a little in the wind, sounded like rain hitting the helmet. The intercom sounded great and worked well. The remote for the intercom though was difficult to use and takes a separate lithium coin battery that I was constantly replacing, so eventually I gave up. The helmet got stolen unfortunately and though I replaced it with a full face Shoei I did still consider another C5. The head shape felt narrower than a Shoei in the same size.

It’s a lovely fit. But riding above 40 mph with the visor open and it shuts on you. Also you can never close se it properly there’s always a gap.

Great helmet best price I could find online and delivered to my door 24hrs later. Can’t fault the service. Only criticism about the helmet is that it’s set up specifically for the SC2 communications system which does look really neat and easy to use however is twice the price of the BMW fit for all I was going to get…I feel I’ve now got to purchase the more expensive system for it all to integrate as neatly but perhaps that was a lack of research on my part!!!

I have had a number of Shoei helmets in the past and decided to try something new so went for a SCHUBERTH C5 as they are classed as very good helmets. Helmet itself is quite good but has a few niggles. The main problem is the visor keep dropping down at >60 mph which is quite distracting and seems a common problem from the other posts i have seen. The Infinity chaps are trying to address it by swapping the base plate and hopefully that will keep it sturdy. The second minor niggle is the chin strap padding is velcroed find that quite annoying when taking the helmet off as the lock is undone but if i forget to un-velcro the strap i am tagging at my chin. Hopefully the helmet visor issue (which apparently goes back to C3) will be fixed otherwise i will be swapping to what i know Shoei.

Had previously always used shoei until I decided I wanted a flip lidunfortunately I choose the c4 pro which was a terrible helmet in every way and had pretty much put me of schuberth…Until I tried this on.it’s superior in every way and everything I was expecting schuberth helmets to be.it’s not the lightest buts it’s super comfortable and does everything wellI was torn between this and the Neotec 2 but with that helmet probably due an upgrade within the next year and that fact that this is 1 of the safest helmets around (according to the new eu safty standards)it was a no brainer especially since infinity priced matched and I could pic up from my local store.all in all a great helmet and great service
